Storz & Bickel Venty — Review

4.8
★★★★★

Battery Life
4.7
Build Quality

Value
4.4

The Venty is Storz & Bickel's best portable to date and I think it's the best portable on the market right now. It heats up in about 20 seconds, pulls hard, and doesn't throttle battery performance after the first charge cycle the way some portables do.

The dual-airpath design means zero residual heat on your draw — the vapor stays cool and smooth even at higher temps. I run mine at 190°C for most sessions and get 6–8 full sessions per charge without issue.

It's big. This isn't a pocket vape — it's a bag or jacket-pocket vape. If discreet carry is your #1 priority, look at the PAX Mini 2 or Crafty+. But if you want the best portable experience available, this is it.

Pros
  • Best-in-class vapor quality for a portable
  • Fast 20-second heat-up
  • Excellent battery life (6–8 sessions)
  • Dual USB-C + car charge support
  • 10-year Storz & Bickel warranty
Cons
  • Large — not truly pocket-sized
  • $449 is a real investment
  • No app control (simpler, but some miss it)
  • Oven loading can be finicky

Bottom line: If you're serious about dry herb vaping and want the best portable experience, the Venty earns every dollar. It replaced my Mighty+ as my daily driver within a week.

Storz & Bickel Volcano Hybrid — Review

4.9
★★★★★
Overall · Reviewed 2024
Vapor Quality
5.0
Build Quality
5.0
Ease of Use
4.7
Value
4.2

The Volcano Hybrid has been the benchmark desktop vaporizer for years and it still earns that title. The Hybrid adds a whip option alongside the iconic balloon bag, and app control lets you dial in temperature to the degree.

Vapor quality is simply unmatched. Smooth, flavorful, consistent. If you've never used a Volcano, the first balloon hit will reframe your expectations for what a vaporizer can do. For home sessions or sharing with friends, nothing touches it.

At $699 it's not cheap, but I've used mine almost daily for two years without a single issue. The cost-per-session is lower than most portables over time.

Pros
  • Unmatched vapor quality in any vaporizer
  • Balloon + whip modes
  • App control with precise temp (°C / °F)
  • Built to last — feels industrial-grade
  • 10-year warranty
Cons
  • $699 entry price
  • Needs to stay at home (desktop only)
  • Balloon bag replacement is an ongoing cost
  • Setup takes a couple minutes vs. instant portables
